Findings

1.Two-thirds of Underemployed Women were found to have poor well-being. It was also seen that as scores on the Underemployment scale increased, scores on the well-being scale decreased.The correlation value between the two variables was -0.44134 hence showing a negative relation with moderate linearity. This trend can be seen in Fig.

2. Underemployed women face 4.79% and 26.8% more poor well-being as compared to unemployed and sufficiently employed women as seen in the fig.

3. The Focus Group Discussion revealed that women who were married and were mothers were most likely to face well-being issues. Hence Underemployment largely targets these vulneable women.
